4G iPod Shuffle can't play 1h-long mp3-files! Why?

I have just purchased my first iPod Shuffle and it works fine except for the fact that my workout mixes can not be played.

The Shuffles main purpose should have been to play my music during workout...

Everyone of the mixes is between 1h and 1.5h long and none of them will play. Normal songs work fine.

My very old classic can play these mixes!

I assume it's just a little software bug that's causing this problem.

If that's the case, how do I tell Apple to please update their firmware to support bigger mp3's?

I don't wanna call the support but instead write an email or something.

Thanks for the question. What happens when you attempt to play these songs? Based on the information provided, it sounds like these symptoms may be related to software. For isolation purposes, try restoring your iPod to factory settings:
