My phone was lost and I was able to recover it using find my phone app. I now have my phone and the screen is completely shattered. How do I unlock my phone so I can back up to itunes so I can send out for repairs?

Glad you were able to locate your iPhone!
Connect the iPhone to your computer then launch iTunes.
Select the iPhone under DEVICES left side of the iTunes window then select Summary from the menu then click: Back Up Now
No guarantee that will work. You may have to send it in without creating a backup.
