iTunes automatic sync

Hello..

I am using iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.2. I also used Macbook Pro 13 inch with mavericks.
My concern is I recently completely formatted my laptop and reinstall latest mac OS X(mavericks). and the problem is when i connect my iPhone to iTunes it doesn't sync with my macbook pro. everytime i need to manually back up the data from iTunes->Files->devices->transfer purchases..

i need automatic backup of my recently updated apps to iTunes from my iPhone..

Does anyone know how to make automatic backup on iTunes when i connect to my iPhone???

PLZ Help me...:( bcz its really ridiculous..

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

If you are worried about your apps not being stored in iTunes on your computer, I would suggest that you look into a feature called Automatic Downloads:

iTunes Store: How to enable Automatic Downloads

Tunes 10.3.3 and iOS 4.3.3 or later (iOS 5 or later for iPhone (CDMA Model)) enable you to automatically download purchases from the App Store, iBooks Store, or iTunes Store1 instantly to your other computers and devices.

Hello.. Braden...

As you said.. i tried to enable automatic downloads and still same issue.. 😟

after enabling the automatic download i also restart my macbook pro.. but still the same..

also you can see in that picture that i have enable the automatic downloads.. and i guess my apple id is same..

I should have mentioned that you can download your apps directly to your computer using your past purchases list:

Hey.. Braden.. first of all thank you for keep updating me...

but my issue still not resolved..

as you can see this image i have already enable automatically sync when iPhone connected,,

and also you can see that there were 2 updated apps.. and those are already updated in my phone..

and for that updated apps i have to manually do this iPhone -> right click on your device 'iPhone'-> clicked on transfer purchases .as you can see in the pic.

i don't want to do this.. Bro..
