    See this:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5125

On a Mac using iPhoto 9.2.2 or later or Aperture 3.2.3 or later:

    1. Select a photo or group of photos from the My Photo Stream view in iPhoto or Aperture.
    2. Press the Delete key.
    3. Click Delete.

This will remove the photos from iCloud on all devices, but photos you already imported into monthly Photo Stream events, will not be removed.

    This is the magic trick:

    1. Start Image Capture (found under applications on the Mac)
    2. Connect your iPad/iPhone to your Mac
    3. Image Capture sees your iPad/iPhone as a connected camera
    4. Click on the first photo you want to delete
    5. Select additional photos using Command-Click
    6. Select a range (series) of photos by clicking on the first one
    7. To delete all the photos on your iPad/iPhone, choose the trash can
    8. Voila!  There are all gone from photo stream
