Just got a Macbook Pro 3.1 17 inch - battery only last 90 minutes streaming is that right ?

I have now got a late 2007 17 inch Macbook Pro 3.1 and in constant use the battery last 90 minutes the seller said the battery is new so is that about right 90 minutes streaming or would a new battery help.

You may have a third party battery of mixed quality. The best sources for MBP batteruies are the ones I have provided links for.


90 minutes of video use may not be that unreasonable for the old MBP batteries. Video is resource intensive and if my memory is correct, other 'normal' use allowed for 3.5 hrs ± battery run time on the older MBPs
