There is not an AirPort Express model A1354....but there is a AirPort Extreme with a A1354 model number.

The Arris TG1672G gateway that you ask about is a modem/router, which is also known as a gateway.

If you have this device, you probably don't need another router like the AirPort Extreme A1354.....but the AirPort Extreme is compatible with the Arris gateway device when it connects using a permanent, wired Ethernet cable connection.

If you are asking if the AirPort Extreme A1354 can connect to the Arris gateway using a wireless connection and "extend" or "repeat" the signal from the Arris gateway, the answer would be no.

Hard to tell. From the description you should be able to connect the AEX using Wi-Fi, then connect the AEX to a device with an Ethernet port to provide a connection to the Arris router. However, you cannot use the AEX to extend the range of the Arris unless you connect an Ethernet cable between a LAN port on the Arris and the Ethernet port on the AEX which is located a distance from the Arris.
