Aug 11, 2014 4:12 PM in response to stayfit99by Bob Timmons,There is not an AirPort Express model A1354....but there is a AirPort Extreme with a A1354 model number.
The Arris TG1672G gateway that you ask about is a modem/router, which is also known as a gateway.
If you have this device, you probably don't need another router like the AirPort Extreme A1354.....but the AirPort Extreme is compatible with the Arris gateway device when it connects using a permanent, wired Ethernet cable connection.
If you are asking if the AirPort Extreme A1354 can connect to the Arris gateway using a wireless connection and "extend" or "repeat" the signal from the Arris gateway, the answer would be no.

Aug 11, 2014 4:01 PM in response to stayfit99by Kappy,Hard to tell. From the description you should be able to connect the AEX using Wi-Fi, then connect the AEX to a device with an Ethernet port to provide a connection to the Arris router. However, you cannot use the AEX to extend the range of the Arris unless you connect an Ethernet cable between a LAN port on the Arris and the Ethernet port on the AEX which is located a distance from the Arris.
