I'm going to buy an iPad air , and i also don't want to wait for the next gen, and in my country there is no more than 16gb iPads, for example there is no 32 gb, no 64 and 128, so i don't know , ill use the iPad for gaming , a couple of huge games like infinite blade 3, order and chaos, thor the dark world, lego marvel heroes , the rest of games will not be more than 250 mb, i won't download music, neither do movies nor videos, maybe like 30 photos tops , so its mostly for gaming . any help would be appreciated ,

The four games that you mentioned in your post will take up over 5GB of storage. The 16GB iPad only has about 13.5 GB of usable storage be use the iOS and preinstalled apps take up the rest of the storage. So after the four games that you mentioned, you will have about 8GB of storage left. You can do the math to see how many more games you can comfortably download with that number. The small number of photos would not take up very little space in the overall scheme of things.

The bottom line is that you have to be the judge of whether that is enough space for you. And remember, that you cannot add space to the device. There are external WiFi drives that you can use for storage at an additional cost, but you cannot add storage to the device itself.

Like Demo says, you can probably manage with 16 gig. My iPad 2 is a 16 gig and I've managed for three years....I just can't data hoard. I can't have that huge but cool app that I'll rarely use taking up space. I can't keep a lot of movies handy 'in case I want to watch them someday'. You have to manage your data.

And as long as you go into your device aware that you'll need to manage your data, you should be ok.
