Try a firm slap to the back of the iPad. This has worked for many users to get the screen working again. if you can get the screen working again be sure to make regular backups of your photos and data. Eventually I suspect the screen will fail again. When it does Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
