Does echo audiofire4 work well with logic pro x?

I'm asking because mine doesn't.

It has been a wonderful audio interface for me for couple of years so far, but now that I upgraded logic express to logic pro x,

a really really loud noise appears from time to time, which makes my drummer jump off from his seat while listening to the clicks when we do live gigs.

Is it because of the driver? I don't see any driver patch on Echo website. Is it the compatibility problem?

Do I have any other chance to save my audiofire 4? or should I just get a new audio interface from different company?

Note: In almost every case, it's not if an Audio Interface and it's drivers are compatible with Logic Pro X ... but if they are compatible the version of OS X you are running, that matters.

So, when you upgraded to LPX, did you also upgrade OS X and if so, have you checked to se if there are any drivers for your interface that are compatible with that version of OS X around?

The latest ones I could find are the v5.7.1 ones found here...

but they haven't been updated since 2011... so it's quite possible that if you upgraded to Mavericks (10.9) your Echo may not function correctly... But if you haven't tried the latest ones, it's worth a shot.

Otherwise contact Echo Digital Audio themselves for help....
