I submitted a wrong email address to apple for my itunes registration.

While I was trying to register an Apple ID account for my itunes, I mistakenly put a wrong email address where Apple usually asks people to put it so that apple can send a verification email to the user's email address. I'm talking about the usual verification link sent to people whenever they want to register for most things online. So in this case I put a wrong email address mistakenly, but I was meant to put my email for me to follow the link Apple will send, for me to complete the registration process. So now Apple has sent it to a wrong address that is not in my email, rather it's probably going to a non existing email. And I can't redo the registration to correct the wrong email address. And whenever I try to download any app, it asks me to go to my inbox and complete the verification process, by clocking the link that they sent me, meanwhile there is no way I can go back and change the email address by refilling the form. I want to be able to cancel the registration and start afresh. Thanks.
