I have a small home office with 3 iMacs. I travel with my MacBook Pro and would like VPN access so have been researching firewall (UTM) appliances. I'm considering Sonicwall TZ series.
Anyone have experience setting up a firewall and VPN? Any thoughts on which appliance works best in the small office environment?
I'm using OSX Mavericks
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), 27" (Late 2009) 2TB, 8GB RAM

Thanks Linc. I forgot to mention that I use a Synology 1813+ for backup and as a music/video server. It also has a surveillance server that allows you to remotely access POE video cameras. It was for this that I was considering a VPN hardware solution (speed issue).
The most compatible VPN solution is OS X Server. Otherwise, use a Cisco VPN concentrator that works with the built-in Cisco client. Avoid installing third-party VPN clients, which have to be kept up to date and may cause problems even then.

I don't have a specific recommendation. Probably the cheapest one.
What firewall Appliance is Best?
