Need Windows XP drivers for MacBook Pro 5,5 (mid-2009)

The hard drive failed, so I installed a new one.

I only need Windows XP on this computer, so I tried to install it as the sole OS. It installed fine, but I can't find the necessary drivers for it, particularly the network drivers.

It seems that it needs OS X and BootCamp installed to install the Windows drivers, so I wiped the HD and installed Mavericks.

Then when I tried to run the BootCamp assistant, it says it only supports Windows 7.

How can I get XP (and drivers) installed?

Windows XP Pro

Mac Basics- Using Windows on your Mac with Boot Camp

Boot Camp Help- Overview of Boot Camp setup

Boot Camp 4, OS X Lion and Mountain Lion- Frequently asked questions

Mac 101- Using Windows on your Mac via Boot Camp

Boot Camp- System requirements for Microsoft Windows

You cannot install XP unless you use Boot Camp 3 and, possibly, Boot Camp 4. If you use Boot Camp 5 which is installed with Mavericks, then you need to install Win 7 or later. XP is not longer supported.
