    Reboot ATV, router, computer

If on wifi try connecting ATV via ethernet

Signal/network test on ATV is not going to give an accurate picture. Go to istumbler or similar to get a full report of the network, look for signal strength and noise.

I rebooted everything 5 times nothing happened. Also, I connected it via ethernet and work nicely but i wont it wirelessly otherewise the cable could've be much cheper.

Here is the result of 3 test of the wireless: ---- Upload- Download

    test 1: 28.68 Mbps-5.21Mbps

    2: 27.48 M- 5.21M

    3: 17.72 M - 4.69 M

when i connect it via wireless the streaming is 1minuts ago. So what ever i do on my labtop will appear after 1 minuts on my ATP. thats strange

IF it's working over Ethernet then the issue lies with your wifi network. Those figures are your Internet speed, which isn't relevant. You would need to go to something like istumbler to get a report of your local network.

Are there other wifi devices close to ATV? Is ATV sitting on top of another device or in a closed space?  Is your network encrypted?

Try changing channels on router (refer to manual if unsure), distance between router and ATV can impact performance. Make sure there is no other network activity (other streaming, network backups etc).

also the TV is near my ATV along with the router'EA2700' and modem from grande communication but nothing in top of others or closed space. also it is not encrypted

According to your report it looks as though you are encrypted, (i.e. if your network requires a password).

You didn't mention if there are any other wifi devices in the area (i.e. game console, smart tv, blu ray etc). Other  appliances like phones, microwaves can also create interference.

    Did you try changing channels?

finally I solved the problem. the Linksys EA2700 has 2 network 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

for the 2.4GHz, it has many networks mode B only,G only, N only, B/G only, and B/G/N only

for 5GHz, it has A only, N only, A/N only

HOW I SOLVED MY PROBLEM is by naming the 2.4GHz different than the name of 5GHz and went to the 2.4GHz network and change the mode to 'B/G/N only' also secured both network with same password. It worked when I chose the 2.4GHz network but not the 5GHz. Now I am streaming my mac book smoothly. and I think the reason because apple cant connect to 802.11n mode.

for any other router try it and let us know.

    thanks a lot for vazandrew
