There are a few articles in Apple support database... maybe more:
•How to clean Apple products
•How to disinfect the Apple internal or external keyboard, trackpad, and mouse
Other sources may not cite concerns specific to Mac portables;
so their direction may be considered with some precautionary
idea that any untoward chemicals, liquids, etc should not be of
a nature that could leak into, damage electronics, or affect the
keys and writing on them. This one at least suggests to remove
the battery, and try to not get liquid under the keyboard, or in LCD.
•How do I clean my laptop? (generic)

So, anyway, there are several other ideas that may appear in a search
since other Mac-centric web sites and magazines have touched on this.
There's also this iFixit guide that shows how to take apart for repair;
however that may be a bit extreme since the portable computer is
a real difficult thing to deal with. Some parts do come off, though!

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
