Installing Office Home & Student 2013

Well, two possibilities:

• You are indeed attempting to install that app suite on an iOS 7 device (which would would be an iPad, iPhone, or iPad). I have no idea how you are attemtping this, but no it will not run on such a device. You will need to find the equivalent apps on the app store.
• You are actually try to install on your MBP running OS X (not the same thing), but it is the Windows version, in which case the same is true. You need to purchase the version of MS Office for Mac OS X. http://www.microsoft.com/mac

Really? I just had the same experience as Kilgore-Trout. I can't install it on my MSB. I get a message saying it won't run on Mac OS X. My reading of your response is that I should have bought a completely different product. Oh no - I just wasted $240 bucks!

Yes - MS Office for Windows and MS Office for Mac are two separate products. The windows version will NOT install on OS X.
