Q: tmp file opens itself
I was just reading a book on my mac mini with my hands in my lap and a finder window pops open to the "tmp" folder. That folder contains another folder called "launchd" and on the icon of that folder is a red circle with a line in the center placed in the bottom right. There's also a file called "sysdiagnose_2014.08.15_12-20-46-EDT-2383.tar.gz" in the folder. I haven't opened the "launchd" folder for fear of what that red circle might be and am a bit cautious as to why a finder window would just open itself. Is there any reason why this folder should just randomly pop up while I wasn't doing anything? I had other apps open at the time including iTunes, Mail, Google Chrome, Twitter, and Simple Comic, which I was reading from. Any information and/or help would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
