How do you create "DUCKING" in Garageband? This was a simple one-click! What Happened?

This was a powerful feature that is missing!

As a teacher at a laptop school, this feature enabled easy and great podcasts to be made.

How does the volume automation replace this feature?

GarageBand (Mac) '11, iOS 7.1.2, Where did "DUCKING" go?

"Ducking" has been discontinued, like a few other features, e.g. podcasts or sound effect instruments.

You will have to recreate the ducking effect by fading the ducked regions in and out using the volume automation curves.

For the time being, you can use GarageBand '11, if you did not uninstall it. It works well with Mavericks and does not interfere with the new GarageBand 10.
