My music app is showing deleted music?

I have deleted my unwanted music from my iTunes program on my mac and I synced it to my iPhone so it would update my phone as well. It is still currently showing my other purchased music with a iCloud logo next to it. Is there any way I can JUST have the music I want on the app and not previously had music?

I've tried going into Settings>General>Usage and then the music app and deleting but they just come back.
