Q: Apple ID on ipad

Hello

 

I have recently updated my Apple ID. I was able to change it on my computer and iPhone no problem but when I go to delete the iCloud account on my ipad with the intention of re-installing it with my new Apple ID it asks for my password to disable 'find my iPad'. Of corse its the old Apple ID so my password doesn't work.
If I can't put in a password to disable 'find my ipad' then I can update anything which is why the password isn't working in the first place.


As far as I can tell theres no way around this, can someone please help?
