Deleted recent call history. Phone still shows 1 incoming call on green phone icon.

If your phone is still showing a '1' on the icon, it is possible a message is in voicemail. Be sure to check that first.

If there are no voicemails, you may want to try a couple of things to troubleshoot -

First, I would try restarting the iPhone -

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
