Q: How do I activate Airplay on my iPod Touch 4?

i am having the same problem as ebsjr except that until yesterday I was able to use Airplay. My daughter has also been using Airplay at my house, she has the same model I do. I checked the Apple website and they say Airplay for audio and video should work on the iPod touch 4G. iOS: Use AirPlay to wirelessly stream content

What gives? Could it be something with the iTunes update that was recently installed? I have turned sharing off and on on everything and completely restored my iPod from backup. All my devices are Apple: Mac Mini, Airport Extreme, 2 Apple TV, 3 Airport Express, iPad Retina Display.

Solved my issue by resetting my Airport Extreme. Even though I was able to connect to the internet, the AE showed yellow status in Airport Utility But a Green status light on the AE itself.

Thanks anyway. I have used some of your advice from the forum in the past. And mentioning my AE in the post reminded me to check Internet utility.
