I recently acquired an external Dell display from my mother who didn't need it anymore. When I connect it to my Mid 2009 Macbook Pro and try to watch any sort of video it works just fine. But when I plug my Harman/Kardon Soundsticks 1st generation into the USB port on my computer, whatever video/dvd I am trying to watch gets all choppy and has the appearance of a slow video stream.
The sound is perfect but the video not so much.
Do I need more RAM to help my computer handle all of the work or does it sound like another problem entirely? I want to be able to use my speakers since they still work just fine despite being 10+ years old but I think I might have to use the audio port instead. Any help or thoughts would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
