I misspelled the name of an individual in my iPhoto photos and would like to correct it as a batch rather than doing it in each individual photo. Is that a possibility?

Select "Faces" in the source list to the left, and then select the Face on the cork board. Click the name below the Faces stack and edit it. If the auto completions prevents correcting the typo, type first a completely different name, like "Mickey Mouse" and press enter. Then edit the name again and enter the correct name.

Yes. Open iPhoto and click on Faces in the pane on the left side and then click on the name below the photo of the person you want to correct.

you were correct. I just made the changes and was very happy with the results.🙂
I have gone to faces left side. clicked on the name until it was brown or what ever, re-typed in name. It defaults to the incorrect spelling. so how do you change the spelling??
How about doing this in the new Photo for OS X? I want to correct several misspelled names on my faces.
Can an incorrectly spelled name in iPhoto faces be corrected in all photos at once?
