Aug 19, 2014 6:18 AM in response to salamabyby Kurt Lang,Deauthorize your Mac or PC using iTunes
You don't need to de-authorize all five devices. De-authorize one you don't need synced anymore so you can authorize the new one.

It's irrelevant whether or not you're using them. An authorized device will remain authorized until you de-authorize it. If these are items you have since sold, and didn't de-authorize before doing so, then you'll have to use the final option in the linked page to de-authorize all devices under your Apple account. You can do this once a year.

Aug 19, 2014 10:55 PM in response to Kurt Langby salamaby,How can I use this option (the final option in the linked page to DE-authorize all devices under my Apple account.) before the passage of the year?
-
Aug 20, 2014 5:59 AM in response to salamabyby Kurt Lang,The yearly restriction means you can't de-authorize all devices closer that 12 months together. So as an example, if you already used that option on April 21st of this year, you won't be able to de-authorize all devices with that option until April 21st of 2015 at the earliest.
If you've never done it, you can use that option now.

Aug 20, 2014 6:08 AM in response to Kurt Langby salamaby,Already I used that option; what am I to do now?
-
Aug 20, 2014 6:46 AM in response to salamabyby Kurt Lang,Then you'll have to de-authorize the devices individually to get them off your account. If you don't have access to these devices anymore to do that (sold, gave away, broken, etc.), then you're stuck until the anniversary date of the last time you did a yearly "de-authorize all". Don't know if Apple's Customer Service could do anything else for you.

Okay, let's back up a bit. You very recently just did this? As in just within the past week?
How do I deauthorize all of my computers?
Using one of your authorized computers, follow these steps:
- Click to open your account in iTunes (you may need to sign in with your Apple ID). Or open iTunes, click Store > Sign In, and enter your Apple ID and password.
- Click Deauthorize All.

The Deauthorize All button appears only if you have more than 2 authorized computers. If you don't see the Deauthorize All button, that means you only have one authorized computer.
I deauthorized all of my computers. What should I do now?
Reauthorize each computer that you want to use with iTunes. Go to Store > Authorize this computer and enter your Apple ID and password.
If so, then all of your devices are already deauthorized. Reauthorize those devices you use.
