Aug 19, 2014 11:32 AM in response to HJBMacUser2010by Phil0124,The current iPad Air is the 5th Generation iPad. So iPad 5 would be correct. It does have Retina Display, as all full sized iPads since the iPad 3 have had retina display.
To get a correct case, make sure it specifies it is for iPad Air. as its unlikely to say iPad 5.
Cases for other iPads may fit, but will probably be a little too big. As the iPad air is thinner and slightly smaller overall.

There is no iPad 5. The newest iPad Air is a retina screen model.
Just Google "iPad Air cases". The Cases will be identified by the manufacturer on their web sites.

Aug 19, 2014 11:35 AM in response to Phil0124by HJBMacUser2010,★HelpfulThank you VERY much. I thought so... Apple quit "noting" if retina or not in the iPad section. So... I was confused/confirming.
The only other thing that makes me "suspicious" is when I look at cases at Amazon (for example), it will say for iPad 5 - but not call them iPad Air??? Is there another odd v5? Why would it NOT say AIR also?
THANKS AGAIN.
