Q: How do I watch movie extras on my iPad ?

I Just bought the winter solder hd version and it is working on my iPad 3 but I don't seem to be able to access the extras that I thought came with this movie.

 

i Normally buy the blue-ray for films like this   As I enjoy the extras showing how things are done but since I can not preorder this title at amazon I bought the iTunes version.

 

are the the extras not available in iOS? What about on my Apple TV when I get home?

 

and why are the extras not seen on the iPad? If in fact that is the problem?

    At the moment they are not available on iOS devices, iOS 8 in the Autumn will change that. If it's an Apple TV version 2 or 3 then they should be available on that.

    You can see iTunes Extras on Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation) or your Mac or PC. iTunes Extras will also be available on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch this fall with iOS 8.

    Here’s what you’ll need to play iTunes Extras:

    • iTunes 11.3 for Mac or PC
    • Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation) using Apple TV software 6.2 or later
    • An active internet connection
