My Iphone 5s won't let me update or download any apps. When I try to, it prompts me to sign in but then after doing so nothing happens, it doesn't even load (and yes i'm sure i'm typing it in my info correctly). Also when I try to enble automatic downlaods it won't let me either. It asks me to sign in but after doing so it asks me to sign in again and again non stop. I've tried restarting and signing in and out but nothing works. Please help.

Thanks for the question, and great troubleshooting so far. Let’s try the following in order:
1) Force close the App Store and iTunes applications

2) Sign out of your account in Settings > iTunes & App Store
iOS: Sign in with a different Apple ID in the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store

3) Restart your device
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

4) Check to make sure your date and time are correct

And lastly, sign back into your account via Settings > iTunes & App Store. Once signed in, tap your account name then tap “View Apple ID” (you may be prompted for your password once more). This will take you to your Account Settings page, where you can view if you have any open orders that need to be settled before you can make new purchases.

Hi Matt,
Thanks but no luck. Also, you were right that it prompted me for my password more than once when I hit "View Apple ID", however it never brought me to my account settings page, it just simply kept asking me for my password on and endless loop. Any other ideas?
