Q: Remove  InBox

I have just downloaded a THING  called Inbox  in the mistaken belief that it was promoted by channel 7  ( australia )  to facilitate catch up  on   missed episodes of a tv program.

The bloody thing has taken over  fire fox  and the toolbar and  replaced the FF toolbar with its  own .

I dont like it and I dont want it  and,  despite following  instructions  about how to  uninstall it , the THING  is still there  lurking . Any ideas?

should I trash  fire fox  completely  and   download again  or is the darned thing sitting there under the hood somewhere?

It  doesnt appear to be attached to safari.

If I dump  firefox, Is there anyway  I can save passwords  that FF  remembers?
