It just keeps bringing up the old email and pass word and then says incorrect pass word. I changed my Apple ID ok but NOTHING will work on icloud more

Aug 19, 2014 11:44 PM in response to alanmichael1957by King_Penguin,If you've updated your primary email address and are still logged in with your old version of your account in Settings > iCloud then you should be able to log out via Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and you can then log back in with the updated version of your account

Aug 19, 2014 11:50 PM in response to alanmichael1957by ios decipher,If you are still logged in with your old email in Settings>iCloud, have Find My iPad enabled and are running iOS 7 you might need to try some extra steps.
Temporarily change the primary email back to the old one and then remove it from Settings>iCloud then you can change it back. Follow the article below to temporarily change the email:

I go to iCloud, try to delete account....asks for password....it then says incorrect password, I follow all steps to reset and then even the new password for old email won't work. I have clicked delete account many times and it will not get passed pass word....how please do I sign out?

Aug 20, 2014 12:59 AM in response to King_Penguinby alanmichael1957,It all began when we tried to buy an app...after we changed the email account ...we started just logging in....says password incorrect...which is wasn't....so set one just in case, so then try deleting with new set password and still says incorrect password. The delete/wrong password was just continuously flashing up without a chance to input any data.
Yet in the iPhone....it deleted the account and allowed new if...and on our Apple TV box...

This causes issues when updating or buying apps because all content is ties to the Apple ID it was purchased or downloaded with in the case of free content.
How did you change the email address?

I have all current updates. The old email is with bt and that account is now closed so cannot access to reset a password via that. I have signed in and out of accounts...Apple ID is showing as new account it is ONLY the iCloud tab and it gives me no way to edit it at all.
As mentioned this ipad is linked to Alan's iPhone and that account worked...
