Internet Explorer is for Windows only and could be considered to be malware 😉

Therefore the only options to do this are -

Install Windows in to a virtual machine using either VMware Fusion, Parallels, or VirtualBox, and then you can run Internet Explorer as normal

Or, install Internet Explorer via CodeWeavers "CrossOver Mac" - see http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=12714 however while older versions of Internet Explorer are working newer versions look like they don't work with this method.

What John said.

When you set up the Virtual Machine guest, take advantage of the shared folder feature. You create a folder on the OS X side expressly for sharing documents with Windows. Put web or other content in this folder that you want to share with Windows. If you are doing cross-platform web development, the OS X folder is selectable in Windows, and you can test content with IE11.
