iphone4 blank screen

My iphone4 screen is blank, it updates ok thought iTunes, it buzzers when sound is turned off as normal

Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Hi,

i have the same problem, but your solution does not work. It is dead and even when i connect to the imac it gets no connection - so imac does not realize that the iphone is connected with the wire ....
