Sync Services missing. How do I re-install this service?

I've the common "unable to load data class" error, when trying to sync my iPhone with iTunes. I tried to disable the Sync Services service in windows, but it does not exist. I'm guessing this is the reasin my the sync does not work?

How can I re-intsall this service?

I'm running the latest versions of iOS and iTunes and have already done a full re-intsall of iTunes.

Many thanks.
