Q: 17 inch LCD Studio Display compatibility

Will an LCD 17 inch Studio Display, model M7649, work with a MackBook Pro5,5? The display comes with the original DVI to ADC adaptor, but I'm not sure if it comes with anything else that might be required. And would it work with a MacBook Air in future?

You need a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter.

Thanks. The Studio Display's prongs don't match the female end of the Mini DisplayPort to DVI. Photo attached. Also from what I can tell online, the adaptor you suggested is for newer displays like the Cinema Display. Any suggestions?

You need that as well as the DVI to ADC adaptor you have.
