Aug 21, 2014 11:48 AM in response to Tisdaz1by ChrisJ4203,Try doing a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should reboot. See if this changes things. If that does not, I suggest containing your carrier to have them check the SIM.

Aug 21, 2014 11:58 AM in response to Tisdaz1by ChrisJ4203,A reset will not affect data. If another SIM from the same carrier will not work, then I would try to reset network settings if the reset I described does not work. Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. See how that works. The last two steps in troubleshooting are restore from backup or restore as new. If no joy there, then make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store to have the hardware checked.
