Q: Can't get Canon MP 640 printer to print

My MacBook, 5,1; OS 10.6.8 can't seem to print directly using my Canon Pixma MP 640hthe

It can find the printer as an IJ device via LAN, and it will tell me that the print job is being sent and that it has printed but nothing comes out. Same result when i connected it via USB cable. Have tried installing/reinstalling drivers from Canon and even once got it to print a test page.

Anyone have any goof ideas on how to fix this?
