Q: Mackeeper - Pop up - Safari

Hi,

Unfortunately I downloaded the Mackeeper. It is already uninstalled but I have now an issue with Safari.

If I go on the internet and open a website and klick around than all the time a new tap opens with the website from Mackeeper.

What do I need to do to get rid off this pop ups?

Identify and remove adware

This was the only thing that ended up working for me: the other suggestions of removing various files and setting various "pop up blocking" settings did nought. The TSM applescript found two pieces of Malware and removed them. Sorry but can't recall their names.
