I have a MAC (OS 10.7.50) and want to connect a Canon MX922 printer to work on wifi. The printer claims to be connected to the assess point but, the printer shows Offline printer not connected. The printer will work with a USB connection. Trying to make this work with Airport time capsule.

Please take us through each step that you are using to setup the printer on the Time Capsule, and then try to print.
I go to the Canon WLAN set up button click OK get "WPS detected". Airport has no WPS button, I select other setup option. The screen shows my Network is available. Gives me a list of security settings. ( Disable, WEP, WPA-PSK (TKIP), WPE-PSK (AES), WPA2-PSK (TKIP), WPA2-PSK (AES). WPA2-PSK (AES) is highlighted and I selected that. Enter my network password and the printer displays connected to access point. The green light is displayed on the Airport. I have no problems connecting to the Internet or to a Blue-Ray. When I try to print, the printer is Offline. Rebooted the MAC, Airport, and printer several times.
Sorry, your first post gave me the impression that you were trying to connect the printer to the USB port on the Time Capsule, and then using WiFi to try to print, but it appears that you are trying to get the printer to connect to the wireless network, and not using a USB connection.
Airport has no WPS button
Yes, it does. Check under the Base Station menu in AirPort Utility, and select WPS Printer. Then choose the First Attempt option, which performs the same function as a button.
Then, power off the entire network, wait a minute, then start the modem first and let it run a minute. Then, continue starting devices one at time about a minute apart to give all network devices a new fresh IP address.
Thanks. Following the steps the Mac found the printer. But the printer is still Offline.
At this point, about all that you can do is check to see if Canon has any available updates for the printer....perhaps for Lion(10.7.x) that you could download and install to hopefully allow the printer to print.
Other than checking with Canon support to see if there are any reported issues with AirPort routers, I am out of ideas.

I downloaded and installed the updates from Canon and the printer is Online and printing. Thank You for your help. You have solved my problem.
