Aug 23, 2014 3:54 PM in response to xxColexxby sberman,I believe it used to be offered for a year after purchase, but now it's 30 60 days (Niel is correct) (for AppleCare + in the U.S.).

How can I learn if I'm eligible to purchase an AppleCare agreement?

Aug 23, 2014 3:53 PM in response to xxColexxby stevejobsfan0123,AppleCare+ must be purchased within 30 days. There has been some controversy as to whether you can still buy the regular AppleCare (which does not cover accidental damage), which usually needs to be done within one year. Phone AppleCare (1-800-APL-CARE) and ask.

Oct 9, 2014 4:49 AM in response to Ankur_Gby imobl,Even if you buy AppleCare in India, it will not get you any warranty in India on an
iPhone purchased in the US. Warranty on an iPhone bought in the US is valid
only in the US; Apple authorized iPhone service providers in India will not touch
that iPhone - neither for warranty purposed nor for paid service.
