I have a 3rd generation apple tv and the optical out stopped working after software updated to version 6.2. Has anyone else has this issue or know of a way to get it to work with the current software version? I am also have an HDMI connection which works just fine.

If optical audio still isn't working, the next step would be restoring the device.

Thanks. I forgot to mention in my original post that I had already tried both restarting and then restoring the device with no luck. Same issues before and after those solutions.
