Q: pages help

I was told that pages, keynote and numbers all had updates in the app store.

so I went and updated.   keynote and numbers did fine.  pages on the other hand is still installing, that was 2 days ago.

I have tried restarting my computer but still no luck. pages will not open because the computer tells me it is still installing.

what can I do???

    After reviewing your post, it sounds like you have a problem with Pages in the app store. You may want to check under Purchases view if it says "waiting" where the update button is. If not follow this article.

     

    Troubleshooting the Mac App Store

    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3624

    1. Delete the app that will not open.
    2. Open the Mac App Store.
    3. Ensure that you are logged in to the Mac App Store with the same account that purchased the app.
    4. Select the Purchases view from the top of the Mac App Store window.
    5. Find the app and click the Install button beside it.
    6. The app will be installed on the Mac you are using.
