Final Cut 6.06 reinstall fail from disk - "no software found" ???

I bought Final Cut Studio 2 with Final Cut Pro 6.0 a while back and I need to reinstall it after recent computer issues. It have installed and reinstalled once previously, but now the original installation disk tells me "Could not install the software because there was no software found to install." ???? Anybody know what I am missing here?
