when I connect it to my computer it says: iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. How can I fix it without it deleting anything on my iPod (e.g. pictures, music, etc.) ?
p.s.- it also looks like whenever I restore the iPod it keeps telling me to do even after I already. (happened 5 times) iPod recovery mode/restore loop.

Yes you can go to BB. If you are not within BB's warranty they may charge you.
You can go to an Apple store. The appointment is free even if not within warranty.
