I've seen posts of others having this problem, but no solutions or official answer from Apple. My IPod classic stopped synching with ITunes once I downloaded ITunes 11. Is there a fix for this? Is Apple no longer supporting IPod Classic? Can I go back to an older version of ITunes? Thanks.

iTunes 11 does support the Classic. Have you read the article iPod: Appears in Windows but not in iTunes which you may have noticed mentioned in the other posts you read? The following link; http://www.apple.com/support/ipodclassic/troubleshooting/ has other articles that may help you.
