I was using normally my Macbook Air
i turned off normally
then i press power button and its doesnt work !!!!!!! i remove the cover and disconecct the battery plug , as soon as megsafe plugs it. its turn on Automatically
PLease some help

Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
If this does not help, contact Apple.

HI DOMINIC. SORRY FOR THE TIME BUT RESETTING SMC DOESN T FIX MY POWER BUTTON ISSUE.....
now i open the cover and disconect the battery andthe megsafe plug... then after 2 seconds i connect the battery and as soon as megsafe plug in its turn on automatic....
i have been using this method after 2 months... please need help.........
MY MACBOOK AIR BEEN TURNED ON FOR MORE THAN 2 MONTHS JUST using it and then sleep mode.. i need my power button again... ..
There may be something wrong with the Power button itself.
Please take the computer to the nearest Apple store to have it checked out.
