Q: Cannot download free apps

I recently bought an Ipad mini ( August 2014) and although it says on the website that I can download several apps for free (like Keynote, Numbers, etc.), when I go to the Itunes store it says I have to pay for Keynote and others. How can I fix this? How can I get them for free, as advertised?

1. Make sure you use the same Apple ID that you use to Activate the iPad.

2. Sign out of Apple ID > Reboot >Sign in again
