I inadvertently deleted my iphone 4S calendar app. How do I get it back

The built in Apps can not be deleted. Check other screens as well as within existing folders.

It's not possible to delete the built in apps. You either moved it to another page or into a folder. Look around for it.

If you can't find it, you can reset the home screen layout in Settings>General>Reset.
