Q: Mac mini Late 2012 unable to boot
It all started when I wanted to install Windows 8 using bootcamp. After creating the Windows 8 USB installer, the Mac restarted and I got "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key".
Tried many ways, created many OSX installer USB disk and SD card (downloaded the OSX dmg installer from torrent), but everything didnt work. And somehow my keyboard does not work as well (it is a USB wireless keyboard, tried once using a wired keyboard, same thing).
Btw, my hard disk is an SSD, and it's totally blank now, I deleted all volumes using Windows. But I'm still getting the same message. I thought the error message is from Windows. Totally don't understand the boot order in Mac. Windows has BIOS that sets this. What is the equivalent in Mac?
What option do I have to make my Mac Mini alive again? It's been dead for over a month now
Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

The 2012 Mini has internet recovery, Just boot to internet recovery like the article says.
You need an internet connection, either via wifi or ethernet. Ethernet is a lot faster download.
I would use a USB keyboard, a PC is fine
