I have an iphone I would really like to use. It has been sitting for about a year. The previous user did not give us her icloud password and her account was not removed from the phone before she left the organization. I would really love to reset the phone and reuse it, but I do not know the password. There must be a way around this, can anyone help me out?
If you or someone else from your organization is the phone’s original owner and has its purchase receipt, take it and the device to a physical Apple Store and see what they say.

If the iPhone is asking for an Apple id and password ,it is locked by Activation lock

There is no way round this however if the fact that it is a company owned iPhone is correct then try contacting Apple Business Support they may be able to help..
However they will go through the details with minute care to ensure the facts are 100% and it is a genuine request
