Q: new iphone 5s won't bluetooth pair with new macbook pro

How is it that Apple didn't fix this? I have all the current software and hardware and there is no way that Apple didn't foresee people wanting to use applications to sync and work across platforms with their $3000 investment in Apple products.

Any thoughts?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2

As you are probably aware, the bluetooth profiles supported are limited: iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles
I don't have any idea why. You could however provide feedback to Apple at https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
