My FaceTime has asked for my password, I entered what I thought it was but it wouldn't accept it so I reset it but it won't accept any of the passwords I reset

My FaceTime has suddenly started asking for my password. I entered the password I thought was correct but it wouldn't accept it. I reset the password (a number of times) but it still won't accept any of e passwords I rest, yet my iPad will accept the password to manage my account. It doesn't make sense I thought it was the same password for all??

Thanks

iPad, iOS 7.0.4

Hey Carolineoconnor59,

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are having difficult time signing in to FaceTime. Is there a message it gives you when it does not sign in? This article may be able to help you out.

I had the same problem, try something then watch the stupid wheel spin. I called 1-800-275-2273 and spoke to customer service for about an hour trying different things. I was about to give up when he asked me to look my system preference then open the time and date. He told me to check the Auto box for time. I was then able to log on to IMessage and Face time. Definitely worth checking out.
